Skip (George) tried and won his first case in 1994, and has been at home in the courtroom ever since. Skip's criminal, DWI, and civil practice covers all NH State and Federal courts and those of Eastern Massachusetts. In 2000, he became a NITA - trained trial advocate, and has since been certified as a teacher of trial advocacy to other lawyers. Born in Boston, Skip was raised in New Hampshire and graduated from St. Paul's School in Concord, NH in 1983 before completing his education at Holy Cross and Franklin Pierce Law Center.

In addition to an extensive trial practice focused in criminal defense, probate, commercial law and personal injury, Skip has argued numerous cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court. He is admitted to the state and federal bars of both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and practices regularly in the courts of both states. A committed skier and surfer, Skip is serious about his sporting endeavors as he is about his trial practice. He continues to play ice hockey and looks forward to teaching his son to skate.

Skip is a member of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association, the National and New Hampshire Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the American Bar Association. He has chaired and taught a number of seminars on New Hampshire trial practice, and was named to the New Hampshire Bar Association's Leadership Conference in 2004.

As a National Institute for Trial Advocacy trainer, Skip teaches trial advocacy regionally. In addition, he is frequently called upon to testify before the NH Legislature on issues of concern to individuals.

Skip has been featured, in connection with a recent case, on the ABC news program 20/20.  His comments and opinion on legal matters are frequently sought by the State's largest daily newspapers. For more on this, read on or hit the news tab on the homepage.

Skip Campbell fights for his clients:

"As the parents of Jesse Caravona watched silently, their attorney George "Skip" Cambell, III grilled Renee Milhomme and Ashley Nelson, two of Caravona's friends who were with him on the night of Oct. 23, 2004, before he died on the kitchen floor of Milhomme's parents' View Street home."

      Laconia Citizen.   July 30, 2008

"He is categorically wrong on each of those counts," said Campbell, who said his client was never reprimanded and that Wrenn never issued any corrective disciplinary actions regarding her job performance. "[Wrenn] is clearly a political animal hired for political reasons. He was not hired for his experience in management - he has none - and was not hired for his experience in corrections - he has none."

       Laconia Citizen.  May 14, 2008

"He called [client] into his office and demanded her resignation. Prior to this, she had never received a review of any kind from Wrenn, positive or negative. He had relegated half of the command of the department to her -- and with good reason.  She was the one with the relevant experience to handle the job," Campbell said.

"This is a problem that is societal and cultural and a parenting issue, Campbell said. It is not the type of thing that should prompt a criminal sanction."

    Union Leader. November 11, 2007

"We are a society of laws, not of vigilantism, said Skip Campbell, [client's] attorney. I hope that people will take the opportunity to look at the facts in this case as they come out and reserve their harsh judgment."

    Union Leader. October 16, 2007

"Concord Attorney George T. Campbell, III, who is representing [client], said his client intends to fight the charges and is confident he will be exonerated."
